Portfolio Manager is designed to live on your device. Before you start, read the principles that guide how your data is treated.
Data stays on your device
Portfolios, positions, goals and settings stay local. There is no app server they are sent to.
API keys protected by the system
Your Gemini, EODHD and FMP keys are encrypted through the operating system keystore (Keychain, Android Keystore, DPAPI).
No tracking, diagnostics only if you turn them on
The app does not send usage events and does not collect advertising identifiers: no analytics SDK is integrated. Crash diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics, Android only) are disabled by default and switch on only if you enable them from Settings.
Total control over your data
You can delete everything at any time from Settings: a single action removes portfolios, goals, cache and keys.
Tecnica: Hive storage encrypted with AES-256 + HMAC-SHA256. 32-byte key kept in the operating system keystore.
