DMCA / Takedown

Last updated: 2 May 2026 - Version 1.0

In short: PluriFin respects third-party intellectual property and expects the same in return. To report infringing material related to us, or to report unauthorised use of PluriFin content, write to [email protected].

1. Scope

This page summarises the procedure to report copyright or trademark infringements related to the Portfolio Manager app, the PluriFin website and related content. For the full templates (in Italian and English) refer to the long-form document published at /legal/en/dmca.html.

2. Incoming complaints

If you believe content published by PluriFin (marketing site, screenshots, blog, open-source code) infringes your rights, send a notice that includes:

  • Identification of the infringing material (full URLs, screenshots).
  • Identification of the protected work you own (registration, first publication).
  • Statutory references (DMCA 17 U.S.C. par. 512 or EU Directive 2019/790).
  • A signed good-faith and accuracy statement.
  • Complete contact details and an ID copy (on request).

Typical response time: 5 business days. On clearly grounded reports we remove or replace the material before responding.

3. Outgoing notices (DMCA)

When PluriFin identifies an abusive copy, a commercial fork or a trademark violation, we file a formal notice with the hosting platform. The US platforms most often used are GitHub (github.com/contact/dmca), Google Play (support.google.com/legal), Cloudflare and AWS. For EU hosts, a cease-and-desist is sent under D.Lgs. 70/2003 art. 17.

Action threshold: we act only on clear and material violations (app clones, full site copies, commercial code forks). We do not act on criticism, reviews or screenshots in press articles -- these fall under fair use.

4. Counter-notice

If PluriFin content is removed following a notice we consider unfounded or erroneous, we file a DMCA counter-notice (17 U.S.C. par. 512(g)) asserting good-faith belief in the misidentification, accepting US jurisdiction for cross-border cases and requesting restoration of the material.

5. Contact
